Die Rad­tour zum Nord­kap

Cy­cling to the North Ca­pe - 1984

Für vie­le Rad­tou­ris­ten gibt es kei­ne auf­re­gen­de­re Rei­se auf dem eu­ro­päi­schen Fest­land als ei­ne Fahr­rad­tour zum Nord­kapp, der Schreib­wei­se in der Lan­des­spra­che, oder auch Nord­kap, wie man im Deut­schen sagt. Da ge­ra­de das in­ter­na­tio­na­le In­ter­es­se an die­ser Fahrt sehr groß zu sein scheint, ha­be ich ne­ben der deut­schen auch ei­ne eng­li­sche Ver­sion ver­fasst.

It is a true­ly try­ing trip to tho­se who cy­cle, a tour by push­bike to the ve­ry nor­thern part of Eu­ro­pe. I met ma­ny eng­lis­h­men that took the fer­ry boat from New­cast­le upon Ty­ne to Ber­gen to fol­low the nor­we­gi­an coast­li­ne up north. It is to them I de­di­ca­te the eng­lish ver­sion of this sto­ry.
